🚨 Alarm & Access on entry


In our shed is a alarm system installed to secure our materials and the premises.
Every employee who has access to the shed should know how the system works and how to safely turn the alarm on and off.
Please read the instructions below carefully and follow them exactly.

πŸ“ Where do you find the alarm system?

Once you enter through the normal door (to the left of the rolling door), you will see immediately to the right of you it alarm box.
The cabinet is mounted at eye level against the wall.

πŸ”“ Disable alarm on entry

When you enter the shed, you will hear a beep. That means the alarm is on and you need to turn it off within seconds.

  1. Walk directly to the alarm box to the right of the door.
  2. Enter the code.
  3. Then press the A.
  4. The system beeps briefly and the display indicates that the alarm is disabled
  5. Enter a wrong code by mistake? Then press ESC immediately and go through the steps above again.

From then on, the shed is safely accessible and you can continue your work.

πŸ”’ Enable alarm on departure

When you leave the shed, always check that everything is properly locked and the alarm is turned back on.

  1. Check that the entrance door is closed and locked.
  2. Enter the code again.
  3. Press A to enable the alarm.
  4. You will hear a beep during the turn-on time (about 20 seconds).
  5. Enter a wrong code by mistake? Then press ESC immediately and go through the steps above again.
  6. Exit the shed through the rolling door and close it by pressing the down arrow on the control panel.

Important: Never forget to turn on the alarm when you leave.
If the alarm is not triggered, the property remains unprotected, which can have major consequences in case of burglary or damage.
Every employee bears responsibility for safe closing.

⚠️ Error messages or malfunctions

  • If the alarm beeps or displays an error message, check the display.
    Sometimes there is a message such as β€œZone open” that means a door is open.
  • Fix the problem first (close the door properly) and try entering the code again.
  • Does the alarm keep beeping or fail to turn on?
    Please call Tim or Talitha directly and wait outside the building until instructed.
  • Never just try to press any buttons; doing so may jam the system or activate the monitoring station.

When you first arrive at the shed, practice once with an experienced colleague how the alarm system works.
That way you know exactly what to do when entering and leaving. Always pay close attention to the order and code; mistakes can lead to a false alarm.
