⏰ Time Management

Good planning and efficient work are an important part of your job at Be Our Guest Events.
Every minute counts not because we are in a hurry, but because structure and professionalism make the difference between an ordinary task and a perfect execution.

We want every job to go smoothly, tightly and on time without stress. That means working well together, thinking ahead and knowing exactly what is expected of you from start to finish.

πŸ“‹ The nine stages of a casino assignment

Each assignment follows the same steps. Together they form the journey from A to Z:

  1. 🚐 Bus loading
  2. πŸ›£οΈ Outbound
  3. 🀝 Getting acquainted & viewing location
  4. 🧱 Building
  5. 🎲 The event itself
  6. πŸ† Award ceremony
  7. πŸ”§ Descending
  8. πŸ›» Return trip
  9. 🏭 Unloading bus

The full schedule of these phases is calculated in advance (in Rentman and in the group app) and is listed on the callsheet.
These times are not just a guideline they are part of the budget and determine whether a job is profitable.
Therefore, it is essential that the team stick to scheduled times and work efficiently within those limits.

🎯 Why time management is so important

For each job, the office staff creates a budget that includes all costs: personnel, transportation, travel time, discounts, materials and margin.
When a team is structurally working longer than planned, costs rise and that directly affects the company's profitability.

Therefore, we expect everyone to smart, efficient and with pace worked.
Everyone is responsible for their own efforts as well as the pace of the team.

  • βœ… Work with concentration and don't linger unnecessarily.
  • βœ… Think ahead: what can you prepare or clean up ahead of time?
  • βœ… Help each other: together you will finish faster.
  • βœ… Keep an overview and listen to the supervisor.

πŸ’° Payment & working time

You will be paid according to the overall schedule listed on the call sheet. This time includes travel time, set-up and take-down, the event itself, waiting time and any additional breaks.

Sometimes you finish a little earlier and have some extra breaks, sometimes it takes a little longer that's part of the job and eventually straightens itself out.
What is important: remain professional. Work well and carefully, keep focus, and communicate well with the supervisor about progress.

πŸ•’ Time in your own hands

After the event, the client or guests may invite you for a drink (non-alcoholic) or a social chat.
That's fine, but this time falls outside of paid work time. We expect you to know when the work is finished and to record your honest hours of work.

⏳ Additional work time when extended

If a client decides to play longer, you will of course be paid for this extra time as well. Sometimes the client does not decide this until the evening itself, requiring some improvisation from the team. The manager coordinates this on the spot.

To avoid misunderstandings, it is important to always discuss the additional costs with the client first. The cost for extension is €60 excluding 21% VAT per hour per croupier. This additional time will be charged to the client by invoice after the party.

It is important that you as a team always cooperate with the client's wishes. Only when there is a good and justifiable reason can a decision be made not to continue playing. Do you have questions about this or doubts about your decision? Then always contact Tim or Taltiha via the group app and discuss it together.

Never stay longer on your own initiative without consulting both the client and Tim or Taltiha. If you do, this extra time will not be paid for.

🚫 No unnecessary excuses

We count on everyone to be professional with time.
Some delays are part of the job and are not a valid reason to write extra hours.
The following excuses will be not accepted:

  • ❌ Traffic jam on the way back
  • ❌ Completion took longer than planned
  • ❌ Bridge was open
  • ❌ Chips refill
  • ❌ Bus doesn't go any faster
  • ❌ Bus refueling

We expect honesty, discipline and insight.
Those who plan their work well, work with concentration and work together as a team will finish on time and leave a professional impression on both the client and the office.
