You can't work and now?


At Be Our Guest Events, we assume clarity and responsibility. When you put yourself in the Rentman app as “available,” your colleagues in the office get straight to work: they confirm to our client that we have a complete team and then get to work organizing the casino event.

Therefore, it is very important that your availability notification is always correct. If you can't make it later, it immediately creates a problem towards the client and the team sitting in the office.

1. You have set yourself to “available,” but this is an error

Have you accidentally made yourself available or do you find out later that you can't make it? Then immediate action expected from you.

Step 1: Contact us immediately

Email, call or app Talitha and clearly explain that your availability is incorrect. Only after her agreement may you adjust your availability.

Step 2: Adjust your status in Rentman

  • Open the Rentman app.
  • Go to the correct date.
  • Click on the block with your times and name.
  • Open the details and click on top right “Adjust”.
  • Change your status to “Not available.”.
  • Please note in comments why your availability has changed.

Done! You have done everything correctly and we can take it further towards the customer nicely.

2. You are already scheduled and added to the WhatsApp group

Have you been added to the WhatsApp group of a casino assignment? Then this means that you permanently on the roster And that we are counting on you.

But sometimes it may happen that you really can't come due to illness, emergency or serious personal circumstances. Then follow the steps below.

What should you do if you can't work anyway?

Step 1: Get in touch as soon as possible

Call first Talitha. Is she unreachable? Then call Tim. Explain clearly what is going on. The more specific you are, the better we can assess what action is needed immediately.

Step 2: We first help find a replacement

Your colleagues in the office will see if there is another colleague available on that date. If so, we will contact them to ask if they are still available and would like to take over your shift.

Step 3: No available colleague? Then find your own replacement

Is no one available? If so, we expect you actively seek a replacement yourself.

  • Colleagues help each other faster among themselves.
  • With a clear explanation, they are happy to help you.
  • This works both ways next time you may be helping someone else.

Tip: calling always works best.

Step 4: Submit your replacement

Found someone? Then app Talitha or Tim with the name of your substitute. They then contact that person, confirm the service and add the substitute to the event's WhatsApp group.

Step 5: You will be removed from the group app

Once everything is settled and confirmed, you will be neatly removed from the group app. The schedule is then resolved correctly, professionally and responsibly.
