WHAT TO EXPECT?

Welcome!
On the first day of your croupier course, you will be welcomed to our office and meet the other participants (up to 2) and the trainer.
Because you will be working together intensively, a good and relaxed start to the course is important. The trainer will go through the entire course with you and explain everything step by step, so that you as a student know exactly what is expected of you.
At Royal Casino croupier course, we value personal attention and an individual approach. Therefore, there is plenty of room for questions, feedback and additional explanation if needed. Our trainers are experienced professionals from the casino world and can therefore tell you everything about the croupier profession.
During the introduction, the trainer will focus entirely on the course content. You will find out what the activities are, how they are handled, what is expected of you and what the theory and practice days look like.
You will receive a training manual for the croupier course with information and space for notes.
Of course, there is always room for questions, so don't hesitate to ask anything. After all, with new things, questions are quite normal.
At the end of the introduction you will get a short tour of our training center and get acquainted with the different casino games.
Theory and practice days are interspersed so that you can immediately put the knowledge you have gained into practice. The trainer will provide feedback and tips to improve your skills during the practical exercises.
During your course we provide a full lunch. You lunch together with the other course participants and the trainer in the nearby office. Of course, you are free to fill your break as you wish; Huizen offers plenty of places to eat where you can escape for an independent lunch.
Step inside our training room and discover the world of the casino as if you were standing on a rooftop in Las Vegas. We strive to make the casino experience as authentic as possible and take you into the magical world of the casino.
Our casino room is equipped with three luxurious, original casino tables and all the necessary equipment to prepare you optimally for your work as a croupier.
In addition, we provide a well-stocked refrigerator and coffee maker, so you won't lack anything during your training.
Our mission is not only to train you to be a croupier, but also to provide you with an unforgettable experience. Therefore, we regularly organize event at our clients' premises where you can show what you have learned.
An essential part of your course is the theory section. This includes game rules, payouts, croupier etiquette, customer orientation and communication skills. You may have already mastered certain aspects and no longer need to think about them, while other topics require a little more attention.
The most important thing is the practical part, because that is difficult to practice at home. For that, we have set up our own casino room like a real casino. You will spend a lot of time there working on your attitude, self-assurance and croupier techniques, such as shooting the ball out of the roulette cylinder. This seems simple, but it's not. The practical part takes some getting used to, but after a few times you will find that you become more and more comfortable behind the casino tables.

Course content
Royal Casino Company's croupier course aims to teach the game rules and table skills for American Roulette, Black Jack and Texas Hold'em Poker. During the course you will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, working directly with gaming tables and equipment in our casino training room. The training is conducted in both Dutch and English.

Training duration
Course duration is between 8 and 14 weeks, depending on how quickly the material is mastered. Courses are held on a regular basis. If you are allowed to continue after the free trial week, you can start a course totaling +/- 560 hours, of which 20% is theory and 80% is practice.
