The start of Tim's Fun Casino
Tim's Fun Casino was born from a brilliant idea combined with a touch of student humor. As a student, I, Tim, was looking to start my own business in addition to my side jobs. During my time studying commercial economics, my passion for entrepreneurship awakened.
The carnival fascinated me from childhood, and over time my interest in the enchanting casino world also grew. It has a magic, fascination and excitement.
With an innovative casino concept that offers entertainment for every occasion and is guaranteed to be atmospheric, I hoped to put a new spin on casino entertainment. My father and I designed a flyer and set up a website, and before we knew it, Tim's Fun Casino was a reality. Just days after that, my father and our neighbor tinkered at our very first casino table.
Hands off
The initial steps were taken and we devoted countless hours to creating a roulette and blackjack table. Without any experience in the casino business, it was quite a search to find out what the possibilities were and to arrange their organization. We lacked a frame of reference; a Fun Casino coming on location was a completely new concept. For me, as a novice entrepreneur, this was a gigantic challenge.
Together with my father, I designed the casino tables so that they could be easily transported in a car.
Naturally, I strived to use the most wonderful casino equipment and contacted several suppliers abroad to get our fine gear. This was the start of our great team that now consists of enthusiastic and talented people, all of whom are involved in the success of Tim's Fun Casino.
My first assignment!
Tim's Fun Casino scores its very first job!
With a dose of confidence, I navigated to the local sports center in Huizen, the upcoming site of an exciting tennis tournament. I discussed the possibilities of my company with the owner and made the proposal to give my casino tables a place at the event. He immediately responded positively and thus I received my very first assignment.
The plan was simple: the person with the highest profit would get to choose a selection of new tennis equipment. The idea fell extremely well with everyone and the atmosphere was fantastic. Behind the casino table put together by myself, I proudly took my place as croupier. It was an unqualified success for my first event! Tim's Fun Casino was born.
I had to expand.
Soon my small business blossomed into a thriving business that required significantly more transportation capacity. The expanding and complex nature of my orders exceeded the limits of what my car and trailer could handle. Overwhelmed by an increase in orders, it was no longer feasible to manufacture all the casino tables myself. Therefore, I chose to import foreign casino tables and give them a thorough overhaul - featuring sleek, new felt surfaces, elegant leather finishes and a fresh coat of paint on the legs. With this revival, the tables once again looked brand new. The larger size of the revamped casino tables necessitated an expansion in my transportation capabilities to keep up with the growth of my business.

My own office and warehouse
My dream came true: from a simple home office, I successfully built a full-fledged office with warehouse, with even the space for future expansion! This has allowed us to significantly expand our casino product offerings, including custom-made specialty casino decorations. Now we offer everything from slot machines and red carpets to Las Vegas-style entrance signs - everything to give our customers the authentic casino experience.
In our office we also have a section set up as a showroom, where we always warmly welcome you to see our offerings for yourself. Together with my dedicated team, we ensure a quick response to all your questions and quotation requests. We are ready to serve you promptly and with professionalism!
Fantastic staff
Our casino was growing and the search for more croupiers began. But where to find that unique professional? Being a croupier is not an everyday occupation, and those who were available were already working at Holland Casino.
So we turned to our own network of friends and acquaintances to find passionate individuals. Because let's face it, who wouldn't want to work for Tim's Fun Casino hahaha. But no jokes, this job was unique; it's a party in itself! Our croupiers spend their hours at anniversaries and galas, enjoying a lively and ever-changing environment.
We are proud to say that our team now consists of fantastic, energetic and cheerful croupiers. We are grateful and excited about the growth we have experienced as a casino.
Future-oriented business
Due to recent developments within my company and the professionalization I went through in 2017, the name Tim's Fun Casino no longer met what I wanted to convey and my future ambitions. It was therefore high time for a breath of fresh air, with a new name, a new logo and a totally renewed image. It is therefore with great pride that I introduce the new name of my company: 'Royal Casino Company'.
The name "Royal Casino Company" symbolizes the growth and success of our company, as well as our commitment to quality and professionalism. We remain committed to providing our clients with an authentic casino experience at any event or party.
But not only has our name changed, we have also updated our website and social media channels to better meet the needs of our customers. Our focus is now on interacting with our customers and providing information about our extensive product offerings and professional services.

At Royal Casino Company, formerly known as Tim's FUN Casino, we don't believe in standing still. We have been completely transformed with an eye for detail and a commitment to perfection. Every aspect of our brand has had a makeover, from the company cars to our uniforms, all of which now bear our new logo. Our website has also undergone a total metamorphosis; we have invested a lot of time and effort to create a platform that reflects our professional standards and is completely in line with the Royal Casino Company image. Our new logo, a king's crown, represents the quality, professionalism and royal feeling we want to offer our customers.
With my dedicated team and our ongoing commitment to innovation and growth, we are ready to take on any challenge and take our company to new heights. Moving to a larger warehouse
With our "new" warehouse of a whopping 400m2, we have gained the space and freedom every entrepreneur desires. The transformation from Tim's Fun Casino to Royal Casino Company is a reality, and as a proud provider of luxury casino tables, we are running at full speed. Finally, we can unleash our creativity and bring new concepts to life - ideas that have long been on the shelf waiting for the perfect moment. And that moment has now arrived. In addition to rentals, we are now selling casino tables to customers, ushering in a new phase of our business.
More space, therefore more supply
With the extra space available, we had a chance to develop all the ideas that were on the shelf. Believe me, there were a lot of them. We soon launched our new label "the Dreambar." The creation of Dreambar was prompted by the growing number of customer requests to offer bar and beverage service in addition to casino tables. Customers often prefer to work with as few different providers as possible. This helps them save costs and avoid miscommunication.
Unique bar experience on location
With the budget left over after the move from Tim's Fun Casino to the Royal Casino Company, and the move to a much larger location with the associated costs, we decided to invest significantly in unique and stunning bars. We did not want to simply join the queue of standard catering companies and cocktail suppliers and then be forced to compete on price. Through our unique bars and concepts, we strive to create a new and exciting bar experience, taking our casino nights to the next level.
Beautiful bars and good service
We originally launched "Dreambar" as the icing on the cake for our casino nights, closely tailored to the desires of our casino audience. To our surprise, requests soon began pouring in from corners we hadn't anticipated. This unexpected interest catapulted Dreambar into an independent entity with a broad portfolio of events ranging from business meetings to unforgettable weddings. Our unique bar concept proved to be a real hit!
Still, I wanted to add
If I thought my schedule was already full, it turned out there was still room for a new challenge. I was looking for a rental activity for weekdays, since current casino and bar assignments mostly take place on weekends.
It seemed destined when, while visiting the largest Casino/Gaming trade show in Las Vegas, I came in contact with an American company that is a pioneer in creating unique photo experiences.
I was already familiar with conventional photo booths, you know, those booths with a curtain that spit out little photo strips. But that wasn't for me. I was on the hunt for something special, something no one else had yet. And then I discovered it - the Magic Mirror! An innovation in the photo world that was not yet available anywhere else. My research quickly revealed that this concept did not yet exist in the Dutch and Belgian photobooth markets, which meant that I would be the very first with a Magic Photo Mirror. This could be a very exciting opportunity!
New, Unique and Magical
Because Magic Photo Mirror was still unknown to the general public, we had to develop a strategy to change this. My team and I did not skip a trade show or open wedding route, and in the first year we made many trade-out deals to build brand awareness. This approach paid off, resulting in a large number of assignments, weekdays and weekends. It soon became clear to me that we needed a second Magic Photo Mirror to meet the demand. And today we are still incredibly busy with all the assignments for the Magic Photo Mirror.
"Then we will do it ourselves" is what I said....
When we founded "Luxe Lichtletters" four years ago, a career in light letter rental was not immediately what we envisioned. Our resources were limited, our willingness to invest modest. Nevertheless, we have developed into the leading light letter rental company in the Netherlands and Belgium. The motivation behind this unexpected turn of events? The unprofessional behavior of our former supplier, who not only dropped stitches but even gave his business cards to our clients, a fatal flaw in our business. The high demand for beautiful illuminated letters, numbers and signs was undeniable. Therefore, we made a bold decision to invest in better, more beautiful and impressive products than our offerings at the time. Our success today is proof that we made the right choice.
Survival in the Corona era.
I remember it like it was yesterday. In early February 2020, my phone suddenly started ringing with customer requests for the approaching months. But within no time, all plans were canceled. After two years of uncertainty and nights of fretting, we remained sober and true to the business we had built with heart and soul. "Should I throw in the towel? Can I still get rid of my business? Should I return to salaried employment?" These questions haunted my mind. Nevertheless, we managed to see new opportunities and came up with numerous innovative ideas and projects during the coronapanda. Looking back, I can say that this period shook us up and gave our company fresh energy and a refreshing perspective on the future.
Rebranding 2.0
During the period of the corona pandemic, much thought was given. Despite the scarcity of assignments, we were by no means idle. Even before the corona outbreak we were very busy, and during this period we even added a new company, which brought an even higher workload. To avoid confusion, both for us and for our customers, and to keep an overview, we have decided to use one umbrella brand name. From now on, we will communicate with our customers from this central name. This strategy makes it easier for us to link different services together and allows our clients to purchase a combination of services in a more streamlined way.
Food truck bought!
When faced in the Corona era with the reality that casino, bar and photo mirror operations could not be conducted at our customers' locations, we were determined to still be close to our customers. Soon we came up with the idea of a food truck. By driving around with a mobile bar/food truck, we could sell all kinds of drinks, snacks and more right in front of our clients' doors. It was an exciting idea, and whether it would succeed or not, we stumbled upon an extremely attractive and impressive food truck. We tied the knot and purchased the food truck! With a new coffee machine and some minor modifications, we were ready to be flexible and mobile and could once again mean something to our customers!
Work to be done!
Fortunately, the period of Corona is now behind us, allowing us to get back to work. We certainly noticed this; the entire entertainment and events industry exploded with activity. Whether it was individuals, businesses or foundations, everyone had reason for a party and wanted to host events now that it was allowed and possible again. Fortunately, with our staff and transportation capabilities, we had everything well prepared so we could accommodate and execute all requests. We had a fantastic year, and soon the unpleasant time of the Corona crisis was forgotten.
