Taking photos & videos on location
Taking good pictures during an assignment is mandatory and essential for Royal Casino Company.
The photos you take show who we are, how professional we work and what kind of experience we offer. Without these photos, we cannot properly promote our assignments, convince new clients and therefore generate new orders.
In other words, good photos instantly create more work for everyone.
Why photos are so important
Royal Casino Company does not sell a standard product - we sell an experience.
That experience can only be conveyed through images. Potential customers must be able to see how beautiful our tables are, how enthusiastic our croupiers are and how much fun the guests are having.
The pictures you take:
Are used for our website, social media and promotional materials.
Help convince new customers.
Show our professionalism and appearance.
Making sure you and your colleagues get more assignments.
Therefore, taking photographs is not a casual task, but a regular responsibility with every assignment.
Who is responsible?
The supervisor (LG) is always ultimately responsible for the photos.
The LG may assign someone from the team to take photos, but remains responsible for ensuring that this is done properly.
Make it a habit to schedule time for this during each assignment.
A good time, for example, is during a short break or at the time of changing tables.
As an LG, you can also stop playing 5 minutes early to walk past the tables and take overview or mood photos.
What kind of pictures should you take?
Make sure the photos are varied and show the whole experience. Consider:
The location: exterior of the property, the name of the location, and notable or unusual details.
The set-up: the team that sets up the tables or prepares the casino.
Playing guests: smiling, focused or enthusiastic guests at the tables.
The atmosphere: overview photos of the venue, decoration, lighting and surroundings.
Catering or other acts: showcase what makes the event complete.
Croupiers: actively at work, talking to guests or during the awards ceremony.
Team photos: group photos of the crew on location, professional and with a smile.
Casino buses or vehicles on location, recognizable with the logo.
Spontaneous moments: laughing colleagues, small details, special interactions with guests.
Important: always pay attention to privacy and representativeness.
Take only photos that give a positive, professional impression and that do not show anyone in an unfavorable light.
Photographer on location
If an official photographer is present, always politely ask for his or her card or contact information.
Please notify the office so we can request those photos.
Please note that this does not replace your own photo commitment.
We always need our own photos, even if a photographer is present.
Tips for better photos
Provide adequate light - use flash if necessary.
Rather take too many pictures than too few (quality we choose later).
Keep the camera straight and avoid blurry images.
Take both landscape and portrait photos.
Use the camera of a good phone (preferably iPhone or similar).
Consider composition: table, people and atmosphere in one image.
